Kosovo - Report on Activities in the Areas of Anti-Discrimination, Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trafficking in Human Beings and Human Rights

This report covers the period January – June 2007. In the area of anti-trafficking with human beings work was conducted in prevention through raising the awareness and education; promotion through provision of assistance to victims in repatriation, reintegration and social inclusion etc. There were also engagements n identification of efficient ways of prosecution (through investigation in nature and specific cases of this category of crime) in order to convict the perpetrators with envisaged legal measures. In function of raising efficiency of mechanisms dealing with fighting this occurrence, work was conducted in consolidation of coordination structures and general and specific capacity building through professional trainings.
