This paper will seek to briefly present the current situation of Foreign Unaccompanied Minors (FUM), and the various forms of exploitation they fall victims to. It will also present some NGOs’ experiences in seeking to assist directly FUM and influence EU policies targeting this group. Based on these two points a number of recommendations will be provided for discussion, aiming at fostering the debate and improving of the current situation of FUM
