THE SITUATION OF SEPARATED CHILDREN IN CENTRAL EUROPE AND THE BALTIC STATES

The present report compares and analyses the main findings of the Country Assessments of eleven countries in Central Europe and the Baltic States. It represents a continuation of the work initiated in “Separated Children Seeking Asylum in Europe: A Programme for Action” and aims to complement it by providing an overview of the situation of separated children in these countries (i.e. Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia).
