This report provides an overview of the current situation and responses to trafficking in human beings in Southeastern Europe (SEE) up to December 2001. The report reveals a number of areas where there are obstacles to the provision of protection and support for trafficked women and children, also presents a number of areas of action for consideration by governments, NGOs, international organisations and donors for more effective solutions at regional and national levels.
