15 Feb 2009 |

According to a press release delivered today by ‘Save the Children Italia’, 7’797 unaccompanied foreign minors arrived in Italy last year, coming from 78 countries, but mainly from Morocco, Egypt, Albania, Palestine and Afghanistan. However, according to Claudio Tesauro, President of Save the Children Italia, that number is still widely underestimated because many migrant children are not included into the data.
