Italy An appeal regarding Lampedusa

‘No-Racism.net’ published the appeal of a number of NGOs including Amnesty and Save the Children regarding the treatment of migrants in Lampedusa, calling to end the numerous human rights violations there. The appeal also details the treatment of unaccompanied minors – who should be transferred to appropriate centers as soon as possible and criticizes the way X-ray examinations to determine their age are being used currently.
