Turkey Anatolian 'beggar villages' send professional street kids to Istanbul

  • ‘Hurriyet News’ published yet another peace about children forced to beg on the streets of Istanbul. Apparently there are four identified villages from where the children are from and families divide the city into territories and into certain months as well. The recent case of the beaten boy being taken into care scared the community.
