UK Attitudes to Roma improve with contact, researchers find

University of Manchester reports on its website that according to a new research conducted in the city, attitudes held by the public about Roma improve if there is more contact with them. Suspicion towards them is based on pre-conceptions and second-hand reports, not on direct encounters.
