Bulgaria BDZ launches 'hearts and minds' campaign with Roma children

‘Sofia Echo’ reports that the Bulgarian state rail company will start a “hearts and minds” imitative to raise the awareness of Roma children about the dangers of throwing rocks at passing trains or hurling rocks on the railway. In recent years there has been an overall decrease in such accidents but still it is an issue for trains going through South-West Bulgaria. As the representative of the transport police pointed out “children don’t realise the gravity of the situation”.
