International Beating children remains common worldwide - report

‘Sofia Echo’ looks at the state of corporal punishment of children, 30 years after the adoption of the Child Rights Convention. It quotes researcher Runyan who summarizes some main points of their research on the issue. He points out that spanking does not help children alter their behaviour, but rather it teaches them to be more aggressive.
