Bulgaria Between 7% and 10% of Roma children do not go to school

‘Focus Information Agency’ reports that 7-10% of Roma under 18 do not go to school. The Ministry of Education’s structural funds directorate is now allocating 6million leva for municipalities, schools, kindergartens, NGOs and universities to facilitate the access to school of these children both by developing methodology or by improving the material conditions of the educational institutions.
