Kosovo Blood testing to begin for Roma lead camp children

‘Balkan Insight’ reports that the Kosovar Ministry of Health agreed with Mitrovica authorities to monitor and regulate the treatment of children in the Osterode settlement, who have high levels of lead in their blood. NGOs have been expressing concern about the levels of pollution in Cesmin Lug where the Roma had been housed earlier, and which has been closed in October.
