Europe 'Britain-obsessed' asylum seekers should be let into UK

‘The Mail Online’ reports that Europe’s Justice Commissioner and former French Minister Jacques Barrot will support the proposal to allow foreigners to claim asylum in any EU country they wish, including the inhabitants of the ‘Jungle’ in Calais – all of whom want to get to the UK. ‘There should be a solidarity within the EU over asylum’ – he was quoted saying.
