Switzerland Call to outlaw corporal punishment of children

- ‘Swissinfo’ reports about the Tdh conference on corporal punishment held on August 27 in Bern. It called on Switzerland to join the 19 European countries that have completely banned the practice. A recent initiative in Parliament was rejected with the argument that children were protected adequately by current legislation.
