Russia Child adoption and graft top US-Russian talks

‘The Moscow Times’ reports that a US-Russian government commission on civil society has put adoption of Russian children and the issue of corruption on its agenda. The first meeting took place in Washington and besides corruption it discussed how civil society could monitor the adoption of Russian children in the US. Adoptions have stopped after a series of abuse cases came to light in which the adopted children died.
