Sweden Child rights group slams Sweden on sex crimes

13 Apr 2011 | sex tourism

’The Local’ reports that in a letter to the UN, signed by ECPAT and 30 other child rights organizations maintain that Sweden fails to take the appropriate measures in the fight against child trafficking. Child sex tourists travel freely abroad exploiting local children due to the Swedish government’s inability to charge offenders. Representative of ECPAT claims that ”Child pornography crimes are not prioritised. Most of the victims are not Swedish children and that explains in part why not so much has been done about it”.
