UK Child trafficking petition urges guardianship system for victims
15 Jul 2010 |
‘BBC’ reports that ECPAT is calling on the British government to lead in a new strategy for victims of child trafficking as half of the children who have been trafficked, go missing in the UK. Protesters were campaigning in front of the Houses of Parliament. Supporters believe that these victims need constant monitoring by adults and that they should be a concern of several NGOs and local authorities in the UK as well as in other parts of Europe.
