Romania Children Left Behind Suffer the Strains of Migration

‘The New York Times’ relates the common story of thousands of Romanian children whose parents left them to work abroad. According to the report, 170’000 Romanian children have at least one or both parents working in another country. This situation is difficult for lots of them, and the risks are numerous for these children, in the worst cases falling into prostitution or criminal activities, up to commit suicide.
