Europe Committee on Rights of Child open fiftieth session

‘Reliefweb’ reports that the fiftieth session of the Committee on the Rights of the Child opened. The Committee – among other things – will review the situation in six countries, including the Netherlands and Moldova. The committee will consider the situation in the Netherlands regarding the promotion and protection of children’s rights under the Optional Protocol on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography and would review the situation in the Republic of Moldova regarding their implementation of the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict.
