Europe Council of Europe calls on European governments to ratify the Convention against Sexual Exploitation

The ‘Council of Europe’ reveals the willingness of the Council to speed up the entry into force of the Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse. Regional conferences will be organised with the aims to pledge the urgent needs of preventing and combating every kind of violation of children’s fundamental rights through the fast entry into force of the Convention. Support will be offered to facilitate the ratification process of the Convention. The first conference will be in Copenhagen on 21 and 22 May.
