Cyprus Country found guilty for failing to combat trafficking in human beings

The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies published a press release about the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights about the Rantsev v. Cyprus and Russia case. After introducing the case the organisation calls on the Cyprus government to stop issuing visas for third country nationals to work in establishments considered as high risk for trafficking and sexual exploitation and to combat trafficking in a comprehensive way.
