UK Detention of children 'must stop'

The BBC reports that the children’s commissioner for England – in his report- spoke out against the detention of children who have been refused asylum. The report set out 42 recommendations for making the detention of youngsters a “last resort”. Every year 2’000 children are held at the center in Yarl’s Wood for an average of 15 days.
