Moldova Equal Rights Trust urges Moldova to amend constitutional clause on equality

‘The Equal Rights Trust’ submitted an expert opinion to the Chairperson of the Moldovan Commission on Constitutional Reform. In the opinion they made recommendations for amendments to the Article on Equality of Rights of the Moldovan Constitution. Two major issues mentioned were equality before the law to be given to not only citizens of the Republic and the grounds on which discrimination is prohibited was too narrow.
