European Union EU Anti-trafficking day to be held in Paris

On 16 October, marked as EU Anti-trafficking Day, an event will be held in Paris on: “Fighting trafficking in children – what is to be done by the European Union?” The network of Christian Organizations Against Trafficking named COATNET and the French anti-trafficking coalition “Contre la traite” organize this event. The aim of this event is to put the emphasis on children and pay a special attention to services delivered to children victims of trafficking. Among 200 experts from civil society the JLS commissioner and European Commission Vice president Barrot, the MEP Edith Bauer (Slovakia, EPP) and the French Minister of justice Ms Rachida Dati will attend the event.
