Serbia Every other victim of human trafficking is a child

‘Focus’ quotes the Serbian newspaper ‘Politika’ and reports that over the last few years the number of children, victims of trafficking, has grown considerably. Children are mainly victims of the actions of separate people, and not organised crime groups. According to data of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia, one quarter of minors, who are victims of child trafficking are children aged 14 or younger.
