28 May 2010 |
‘Oneindia’ reports that the Social networking site Facebook will soon have a ‘Panic Button’ on it’s pages. This button will enable Facebook users to directly link to CEOP – Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center. ‘Onindia’ quotes Richard Allan, Facebook’s director of public policy for Europe, who revealed that the company is working “very closely” with CEOP on the project: “We have continued talking to Ceop and are working very closely with them on a Facebook application that allows Facebook users, when they have concerns, to connect with CEOP”.
