Serbia Fighting organised crime, corruption a government priority

Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic stated yesterday that since 2004, Serbia has gone from a transit and final country destination of human trafficking to a country of origin. He said that 74 people were charged last year with trafficking in human being in the country, of whom 71 were Serbian. Most of the 48 identified victims were Serbian underage.
