Europe Fighting trafficking in children: what is to be done in the European Union?

COATNET, Secours Catholique (Caritas France), and Caritas Europa are organizing an international symposium in Paris on the 2nd European day against human trafficking, October 16th, to raise awareness about the global problem of child trafficking and to urge the European Union to do more on the issue. Ukranian Ministry officials, representative of the NGO “ECPAT” ,the European Parliament’s rapporteur on trafficking as well as the European Commission’s Vice President Mr. Jaques Barrot are among the speakers of the conference.
