Europe Finland to adopt gender equality plan

A press release published in ‘7th Space Interactive’, the CEDAW Committee (Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women) reports about its review of Finland’s six periodic report to the Committee. Finland has the second highest suicide rate among young girls and while the country has made progress, there is still a problem with gender-based violence and there are weak penalties for sexual harrassment in the workplace.
