Romania Government crisis measure threatens to place more children back into institutions

‘Reuters AlertNet’ reports that in Constanta County, Romania, several children, who are often physically challenged or have AIDS or HIV, have been forced back into institutional care after their personal carers’ were fired, due to the economic crisis. World Vision Romania and the Black Sea Coalition have taken a stand against the measure and distributed a statement to some 70 institutions.
