13 Jan 2012 | integration migration
‘Deutsche Welle’ reports that Germany is making progress when it comes to integrating people with immigrant backgrounds, according to the latest study released by the government. One of the key questions in the study included school qualifications secured by people with immigrant backgrounds. The special representative for migration and information lauded positive trends among children in kindergarten and schoolchildren observed in the report. She concluded by admitting that the ultimate goal of complete equality was by no means a reality in many areas of society.
