- ‘Daily Express’ reports that the Scotland Yard has joined forces with Romanian police to wage war on Roma crime lords trafficking children to Britain and forcing them to beg and steal. Chris Beddoe, director of Ecpat UK is quoted saying that ‘T_here is a vast network of gangsters supplying Roma children to Britain and other European countries.’_
