Sweden Housing still scarce for refugee children

21 Oct 2010 |

‘The Local’ reports that the Swedish Migration Board has major shortage of places to house refugee children. Now it is pressuring local governments to provide accommodation for them. At the moment 500 children are waiting for appropriate accommodation. The delay affects their application for refugee status because they can only submit it once they have permanent placement in a municipality.
