Kosovo How to better identify children victims of trafficking? Training for NGOs

Prishtina, Kosovo: After a first training for NGOs in January, this second training organised by the “Center for protection of victims and prevention of trafficking in human beings”, addressed NGOs in the wider area of child protection tand also NGOs from rural areas to raise their awareness about the issue of child trafficking and to improve their identification of potential cases. The training which was based on the UNICEF guidelines introduced the 16 participants to the proper referral mechanisms and options for advocacy. Participants proposed to continue such meetings of NGOs as a way of strengthening cooperation for the fight against trafficking.
