The information materials, posters, badges, t-shirts inform the Slovene public that the rights they take for granted – like the access to water, shelter, use of their language – is difficult to attain for many. The imagery on the posters evoke women’s rights and the right to education.

Ekvilib Institute’s actions are focusing on young people, students in Universities and are trying to raise awareness about Economic Social and Cultural Rights in a country where most people associate human rights with the right to vote or the right to association. Activities will include awareness raising among students, lectures on human rights and development, a photo exhibition on the theme of human rights and roundtables with experts on how to integrate human rights into development work.

At the same time the organisation renewed its logo and its website, filling it with lots of rights-based materials. The translation of the website into English is underway.
