Russia Human trafficking put in the spotlight by local project

“The St.Petersburg Times’ reports that a project funded by the government of Belgium is launching an information campaign against trafficking. The article quotes the US State Department’s TIP report saying that St. Petersburg has been destination for children trafficked within Russia and from Ukraine and Moldova for purposes of sexual exploitation and forced begging. Experts point out that forced labour seems to be the biggest problem in St. Petersburg.
