The meeting *"Children as Victims and Witnesses. A question of Law…and of Rights!" will focus on the potential roles of children in juvenile justice this year.

This annual event will be held in collaboration with The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the international Bureau for Children’s Rights (IBCR) and Inocenti Research Center (IRC)- UNICEF. It will be organized with the financial support of the International Association of Youth and Family Judges and Magistrates and The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

Through confrontation between theory and practice, this seminar intends to give a comprehensive analysis of the problem of Children as victims and witnesses when exposed to justice. Also, it aims to evoke situations, underline best practices and specify all possible synergies among actors. This four days-long event, eventually will come up with conclusions that allow strong and concerted actions at international level.
