Europe Immigration must be an EU priority

• ‘ANSAmed’ reports that the main topic of the Italian and Spanish Prime ministers was immigration. Berlusconi had to fend off criticism that Italy was carrying out inhumane and immoral policies in repelling boatloads of migrants on the high seas. The two countries have pledged to put the issue on the European agenda during the Spanish presidency in 2010.
