* : This edition of the newsletter highlight the Concluding Observations of the 50th Session of the Committee on the Rights of the Child that ended last month. In these Concluding Observations the Committee makes strong recommendations relating to justice for children, including the administration of justice and justice in matters involving child victims and witnesses of crimes. The Committee also encourages the governments of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Chad to seek technical assistance in juvenile justice from the Interagency Panel on Juvenile Justice and its members.
