Ireland Irish Roma communities face discrimination, says report

‘Hürriyet’ reports that according to a study by a team at University College Dublin, Irish native Roma people are often discriminated and have a significantly lower life expectancy compared to others in Ireland. Death and suicide rates are higher between members of this community, also called Travellers, than those among general population. The study was inspired by the current issues of the Roma community in France.
