Europe Is recruitment of overseas football youngsters a form of child trafficking?

In a speech in front of the European Parliament, UEFA President Michel Platini compared the recruitment of overseas underage players by Europe’s top football club to “child trafficking”, and said to be convinced that such transfers should be prohibited under FIFA statutes. “Some people talk about the free movement of workers. I am talking about the protection of children”, he said.
