Moldova Juvenile solitary confinement cells to be abolished in Moldova

UNICEF reports that French Senator Robert Badinter visited Moldova and called on the government to reform its juvenile justice system. Together with other high-profile members of the international community, he visited a penitentiary for minors. After the visit he commented on his shocking experience and called on the authorities to close solitary confinement cells for minors.
