Romania Keep on training
Project : Romania 31 May 2011 |
Craiova, Romania, April 2011: For three intensive days, MOVE trainers from Romania had the chance to deepen their knowledge about the Movement, Games and Sport (MGS) tool, to refresh the methodologies they already put in practice and, at the same time, to discover new techniques about transferring MGS to other potential trainers/animators.
The training was a great and enriching experience for all: animators from schools in Craiova, new trainers and base group trainers from Craiova and Bucharest. The aim of these three days of combined practice and learning was to build capacities of the base group of trainers and to enhance the quality of the Training of Trainers.
The schedule was adapted to the purpose: the first day focused on summarizing the MGS methodology, the good practices and the principles of the training of trainers; the second day included presentations of MGS modules (both psychosocial and methodological) made by the team of new trainers selected from Craiova and Bucharest, accompanied by the feedback of the base group trainers. The added value was that all benefited from the good and instructive supervision of the regional MOVE coordinator, Gael Renesson. The third day was dedicated to the organization of traditional game modules and teenagers’ games, presented by the base group of trainers.
“During the training days, we deepened our understanding and practice in organising training on MGS but also it helped us strengthening relations and last but not least we learned a lot from feedback, which make us true and lively in our job, allowing us to improve our personal, methodological and psychosocial abilities” said Michai Enache, national MOVE project manager. “All this was done in order to achieve more and maintain the standards of the first training” he added.(CV and ME)
