Bulgaria Less and Less Bulgarian Children Visit Schools

Comments: According to the ‘Bulgarian News Network’, the number of children visiting school decreases, especially, among children with Roma origin. In the latest Unicef Global Report on Education, figures show that 18 % of Roma children in Bulgaria are illiterate and school drop out increase three times compared to figures ten years ago. The hygienic conditions are also alarming in some rural Bulgarian schools.
