Europe Malta looking into case of Russian foster children

23 Nov 2009 |

‘Times of Malta’ reports that Malta is looking into the case of Russian children in foster care in Malta for a number of years and recently returned to Russia. 13 children were taken back last April after one Russian orphan died 10 days after his disappearance. The Maltese government plans to sign an adoption agreement with Russia but the last attempt in 2001 was unsuccessful after disagreement about the fees to be paid after each child.
