Sofia, Bulgaria – During the Initial meeting for exchange on training methods in the framework of Mario project, new common module implemented in all national trainings in Kosovo, Albania, Bulgaria and Poland was developed. Project partners from the four countries came together to introduce to each other the *training methods, training materials they use and to exchange on the successful training experiences in the region. The purpose of sharing experience was to collect new experiences and learn from others practices. ECPAT Bulgarian affiliate introduced their TOT method on child trafficking, while Terre des hommes, Save the Children in Albania and Nobody’s Children Foundation shared their experiences on training social service providers and law enforcement bodies in the region.
The common training module will be an essential element of all national trainings in the following years. It is composed of the definition of child trafficking, relevant international standards and root causes and consequences of child trafficking in the region. The meeting also gave an opportunity to discuss evaluation and follow up processes.
