Czech Republic Minister disgusted by Slovak Romanies' advertising

  • ‘Ceske Noviny’ reports that an advertising agency asked Slovakian Roma, working on a construction site in the centre of Prague to wear yellow T-shirts saying “I should have learned better!”, as part of a campaign promoting the importance of education. The Czech Minister for Human Rights and Ethnic Minorities said "such advertising was deepening a degrading stereotype of an uneducated Romany".
