Romania MOVE animators become adult trainers!
Project : MOVE 24 Jan 2009 |
Craiova, Romania: two pairs of MOVE animators out of six have become trainers, each pair facilitating their first 4 days replication sessions (out of three). In total they brought with a fair success the new psychosocial concepts and games to 22 participants, teachers and employees from World Vision in Sadova and Craiova localities. The new MOVE trainers were observed by their colleagues from Craiova who took part in the first 2 days in order to confront themselves to the position of “trainer”: a big step from animator with children to adult trainer, but a necessary one to really integrate the approach…
The professionalism and enthusiasm of the training pairs was rewarded by such statements: “Thank you for the changes you have brought into my life”, “You teach the world to play”, “The most interesting course, it was super cool”, “I want to apply these games with the children first thing, I am totally convinced of the training benefits.” They will be coached in their very activities by the trainers t*o ensure the learning process of psychosocial inputs*.
End of January and beginning of February 2009 this replication phase will go on with the four remaining pairs, involving around 50 new teachers and social workers, beneficiaries of the MOVE project in Romania.
