‘The Sofia Echo’ reports that the Bulgarian Parliament expelled today one of its members who had sexual contact with a 13-years-old boy. According to the report, the former parliamentarian had his three-year jail term sentence recently turned into a suspended sentence, because the Supreme Court of Cassation found there was no evidence that “the homosexual relations had had a negative effect on the physical and mental condition and on the sexual capability of the victim”.
