69__albania__new_initiatives_to_fight_poverty_0_small Tirana, Albania: Common Actions against Poverty (CAAP) is a local Albanian non-governmental organization that aims to reduce poverty and exclusion of the most marginalized children, youth and parents through entrepreneurship, vocational and life skills training, employment opportunities and economical empowerment. CAAP is established with the support of Terre des hommes, to take over and further develop the income generation activities that Terre des hommes Albania successfully implemented for 2.5 years, and to broaden the scope of its mission for all Albanian children, youth and parents in need. CAAP’s Objectives

  • To assist children, youth and parents, as well as communities to gain economical independence through economical empowerment opportunities,
  • To assist service providers that have common mission with CAAP, to enhance their quality of deliveries,
  • To assist local governments in their action for social transformation to reduce the poverty,
  • To advocate on behalf of the most vulnerable and poorest for acknowledgement and access to their social and economical rights.
